About Oriental Beauty Oolong
Known in Taiwan as bai hao oolong, oriental beauty is a truly unique oolong. Unlike other oolongs, OB is a heavily oxidized, non-roasted, and insect bitten. After being bitten, the leaves produce a healing substance which give the tea a honey taste profile. Bai Hao oolong is also called "champagne oolong" due to its light and refreshing palate.
About Our Oriental Beauty Oolong
This oriental beauty we selected is harversted in Hsinchu county, around 800 meter altitude. The plantation follows an organic practice, so as to encourage leafhoppers to take habitat. The plantation also enjoys a cool and misty climate, as it's located on the south eastern side of the mountain.

Taste Note:
Orange to amber liquor. Lemony and zesty on the nose. Dried leaves has a clove-like fragrance. On the palate, it is rich, sweet, with a slight citrus tartness.
Brewing Recommendation:
Small pot/gaiwan, 100 °C, 30 second steeping. 4 plus infusions.
